Visiting Forest VA. just outside Lynchburg.

Tomorrow morning I'm headed to VA for the holiday. My daughter lives just outside Lynchburg. Does anyone know of a woodworking must-see in the area. I love the grandkids and the excitment, but I want a place to bail-out if needed.

Jefferson's Poplar Forest is near there and I'd highly recommend a visit. The house is set up in varying stages of restoration showing parts of the framing, etc. It's really cool. They have a nice cabinet shop too but I don't think it's open normally. Last spring the EAIA had a meeting there that was just fantastic. Oh, and there's also a gigantic work bench that's worth seeing...I think it's something like 14' long!
