    Walnut HF

Well got a little turning time between honey-do's. Turned this walnut HF. It is 10 1/2" X 4". Finished with GF Woodturners finish. Hasn't been buffed yet. My wife had some friends over yesterday and one of her friends bought it. I told her she could pick it up next week after it has dried a few days and buffed.

That is some great figure in the walnut, and the form shows it off well! I would have preferred a more subtle neck, but obviously your customer had no such qualms. Congrats on the quick sale.

Bernie - you have become a regular turning machine since 'retiring'!! Very nice work on this form! Love the wood and your finish really brought all that curl out nicely! Congrats on your sale! Looking forward to seeing what's next!

Thanks to all. I really like the woodturners finish as it does let the wood talk. I think it and lacquer let the wood shine the best. I just wish that wood had more of the feathering. I have to get up early and get turning as one of the other ladies that was over called the wife and wants one.

Thanks John. It is a clear finish that shows the grain nicely and is easily applied.

That's awfully pretty Bernie! That shape had to be a tough one to hollow. Really some nice looking walnut.
