    This mornings return

    8 1/4 x 7 x 3 1/4

    Hickory

    AO finish

    Took a bit of sanding due to how it warped but I am very satisfied with the final result.

    Yup, that is spectacular. It sure has some beautiful colors and contrast in the wood and bark.

    Nice work, again, Ken - and, you sure are making me long for some of that hickory. What I have seen here doesn't have that color. A HF from the heartwood (maybe a little sapwood on top?) would be sweet!!
