    Woodburner for carver - Recomendations

    OK, it's Dec 3 and the wife has been bugging me for my Christmas list. I need a good woodburning set-up to use with my carvings.

    Pretend money is no object (she is not on the forum). Which one would you recommend or ask for?

    I have been leaning toward a Colwood.

    I have a Colwood, an older model that I picked up used. I have not had any problems and the extra hand pieces I ordered work just fine. I am more than satisfied with their customer service.

    I honestly haven't tried a lot of different brands, so I can't judge one from another.
    I have a Razertip SSD10 and I'm pretty happy with it.
