    Xmas idea for Potter fans

Just thought I'd share something with those looking for Xmas ideas for kids who like magic or Harry Potter
Santa brought these for my kids last year.

there are instruction inside that explain how to use them but with a disclaimer that they won't work for muggles. So unless your kids are not muggles, they will make nice fun for a while.

    Seriously Robert,

They look great. Did you make them? If so, you might have just missed a way to pay for your other Christmas presents.

Oh - sorry - wrong thread. You meant HARRY Potter.

I thought you meant RICK Potter.

I have no opinion on Harry, but that Rick dude, well..................
When I started woodworking, I didn't know squat. I have progressed in 30 years - now I do know squat.

    Rick, sorry about late reply...
Yes made them using some wood from a small garden tree that had died. I kept the wood thinking I'd make some small handles or something. But it come in handy for these. They involved a little whitling. Drilled the handles and set the the wand part in.

Didn't take too long. I think waiting for the oil finish to dy took the most time.

Nice work Robert. Bet the wife decrees they are too nice for the kids to take outside. The boxes are very nice also. Now, if you could just make one for my nephew, Harry.
