    You are going to need it! Trashed a freshly sharpened blade cutting your blank, this stuff is like concrete!! AS is drying then it will be on its way

    Oak burl. John should be able to get atleast 1 big HF from it along with a burl cap depending on his plans

    Ken, I dare say, I have mixed emotions!!! Sure looks like a great hunk of wood, and I am excited about digging into it - but the thought of wearing out a gouge doesn't do much for me. But, then, on the other hand, gives me a chance to buy a new toy!!!

    Hi John, I tell you what......I will swap this piece of crap red cedar that I am trying to turn for the oak burl. Sounds like a good swap to me. LOL. Look forward to seeing what you end up with.
