    Done! Loosely speaking.

    http://ilynda.com/shop/shop3.htm

    After 16 months.
My wife and I working 2 to 3 weekends a month.
16' x 32' frame, steel clad, electricity and a PTAC for heat and air
    Just over $12,000 = $23.44 a sq. ft.
Now I need to build some storage and organize (a lot).

Looks quite nicely done, Bill. I particularly like how you arched the ceiling up to give you more headroom. How high is it?

I think the PTAC is a good choice. I mounted mine much higher on the wall (the bottom's about 4' off the floor). I figured this would get it above some of the dust, and, since the outside sticks out further than yours, it wouldn't be in the way mowing my grass.

Are you expecting to add more outlets?

I see you got the dogs installed. Nice job.
When I started woodworking, I didn't know squat. I have progressed in 30 years - now I do know squat.

It's about 9' in the middle.
I was at a loss on the PTAC and decided if it's good enough(mounted low) for a motel...

It's surprising how well they do without training...

Nicely done Bill! Your shop looks great, inside & out. I would love to have wood floors like that; your legs & knees will thank you! Are you going to build any cabinets for it?

Yes. Where this stuff is. I didn't put receptacles there for that reason.

The dogs will have to be moved, but they'll get over it.... eventually.

Is it insulated? If it is the wood floor makes all the difference in keeping the heat from going out the floor.

Yes, under the floor there's 6 inch batt with an air sapce under it.

Now it's time for some woodworking! Nicely done.

Great shop, neat dogs, love the fact that you built it with your wife.

Can't wait to see the projects that come from within!

Nice shop, but I'm more interested in that shingle sided tall narrow structure in the background!

Looks like a lot of hard work; but the end result is worth all of it.

Nicely done Bill! I really like your attention to detail, such as the alignment on the screws holding the siding in place.

    Very nice craftsmanship.
