Hybrid Cigar Pen with Camateo wood

I enjoy turning pens because it is so easy to finish a project in short order. (not 15 minutes like the pro's, but short for me -- within a 1/2 day start to finish.)

This Camateo blank was purchased from Berea Hardwoods probably about 5 years ago just waiting to be turned. I used a Premium Hybrid Cigar pen from the same company. First time turning that model.

Let me know what you think!

Great looking pen. Cigars are a good size to notice the grain and texture.

Nice looking pen! Great wood! I like the Cigars too - I doubt I could leave a piece of wood like that laying around for 5 years!

Thanks guys! And, as Benjamin said, I too enjoy dealing with Berea. They are great people and really customer service oriented. Always fun to deal with a great American company.

The photo is a little dark, thus not really showing off the beauty of that timber but from what I see it is a great looking pen. I too like the Bearea line and infact I am waiting on an order from Ernie as I write this. I ordered the hybrid copper cigars. They make for a nice confortable pen and good looking that will never go out of style. Thanks for showing.
