    Speaking of pigs.

I have all the respect in the world for our police officers. But this was pretty slick.

I could see where this could be insulting to anyone who didn't have a sense of humor.

    "At the expense of taxpayers"?

Unless they will be charging more tax, or performing fewer police duties because of the expense, the net effect is on the police department, as otherwise, that surplus $ could have been spent on personnel or crime fighting, methinks.

I find it interesting the term "pig" has been applied to police since the early 1800s.

We had a really hard nose cop back home in OK that didn't take any guff off of anyone, especially teens. One day someone in high school called him a pig. He got right up in his face and asked him, in his very loud officer voice, "Do you know what pig stands for???? Pride....Integrity....Guts." He then turned around and walked away. Priceless!!!! Jim.

I agree , very interesting , I would found a better name for my enemies other than a swine, pigs are one of the smartest animals but they will eat anything and are a mud hole animal
