    OT Life is GOOD Gloat

Some of you know of my rental property situation.

    <CENTER><font color="red" size="16pt"><b>IT's GONE!!!!!!!!!!!</b></font><br>
    <B>SOLD - SETTLED - SOMEBODY ELSE'S HEADACHE NOW!</B></CENTER>

    - I just got back from putting a big check in the bank LOML won't let me go to Atlantic City Casinos & put it all on red though

I do definately have the OK for a new planer - I'm heading up to woodworkers warehouse now - to see if they have both the Dewalt & the Delta - Woodcraft only had the Delta in stock.

I'm probably going to go with the Delta, but would like to compare them both. Also I might have to try & have some self control because Dewalt is supposed to come out with a new model & whatever the Heck the new Delta X 5 line is might have something better. I wish I could at least find out the timetable for the product intro's. Whatever - gloat to appear soon I hope.

You can't imagine how good it feels to be rid of this place. Well maybe you can - it feels real good though.

    Thumbs up Congrats Tom!

I've been in those same shoes - and it felt just as good!

Ps., The Delta X 5 line is supposed to be out in June.

I'll make sure to hoist a drink in your honor tonight, Tom! I spend a lot of time working for landlords every year, so I see what it's like...congrats on getting rid of it. Maybe you should call your old inspector buddy and tell him...

    Cool Delta Planers (X5)

I talked with one of the owners of the local Woodcraft last night at an auction. He mentioned that Delta was coming out with a new planer in June, he mentioned "X5". It's to be similar to the 13", but a 15" cut for about $600 he thought. Allegedly portable, but weighs about 90lb, so you can believe as much of"portable" as you want.

Thats the only thing I've heard about X5, but I don't think he'd make that up...

    Thumbs up

    Tom,

Congrats on selling the old rental. I know how you feel I did the same thing last June. Oh! what a relief! By the way I just received Woodcrafts current flier and in it they are advertising DeWalt 12 1/2 " Planer Model DW733 it says new lower price $359.99 plus free extra knife set and dust hood An $80.00 value for free. plus it says Visit the store for an Extra deal so hot, dewalt won't let us advertise it. The sales flier starts tomorrow 4/26/2003 and runs thru May 31st. Just thought I would mention it. Good luck on your tool purchase whatever you get.
