    Grizzley Sander

Does ayone have a 16" Grizzley sander? If so, would you buy one again?

I don't have one, but do you know your thread says "Grizzley Sander?" You might get better information with a better title. I'm not sure if you can edit that?

    I've got the 1066R

which is the 24 inch. Works just fine once you make the change to hook and loop paper. Before that I was ready to toss the thing in the trash. Dust collection pretty much sucks - only gets the finest cloud of dust and that's with a 3 HP 2 stage cyclone with a 6 inch to 2 4 inch lines to it. I just stand behind it with a shop vac sucking the dust off the doors as they come out.

The thing is the cats meow for flat RP doors. If you can possibly afford the space - get the 24 inch. You really can't sand a full 16 inches with the 16 inch sander because you get too close to the sand paper ends it tends to give problems. The 24 gives you plenty of room for most any RP door.

I love the thing. Sure - I'd love to have a 38 inch wide belt sander but this does pretty good for me.

Just FYI you can edit the title, within 24 hours like all posts, by going advanced after you hit edit.

    It's Grizzly, not Grizzley.

Obviously Wolfey, but who cares how it was spelled! All of us knew what was meant. Nelson's remark were as poor as mine is here.

Incorrect spelling makes it nearly impossible for others to find the information in your thread through the search function.
