    New Control Box for Larken Camtool 24-24R Router

    I have a Larken Camtool 24x24R cnc router. The control system that came with it is a LowCam DOS system that needs microsoft dos to run it. I would like to update to a windows type of software to program and operate the machine. Does anyone have info on how hard this would be to do and what would it cost. Can I use the stepper motors that are on it and just buy a three axis control box that could us mach 3 software?

    Are you sure you cannot run Mach3 with your controller? Have you pulled the demo down and tried it out? I assume teh controller you have connects to your PC via a parallel port? Do you have a machine with a parallel port on it and XP?
