    Sea trunk restore question

Hey everyone, I have a sea trunk that my Grandfather traveled with from Italy in early 1910-1912. It’s has a leather outer layer. I would like to get it restored but cannot find a place to do it. Does anyone know of a place I could send it to get done. Thanks Pat

Bet those fellows on "American Restoration" would do it, probably only charge you 4K.

DIY? If I had something like that, I would just clean it up the best I could and leave as is... keep the character...

I would agree with DIY. You might try a saddle shop for advice on cleaning/restoring the leather. How's the inside?

It's pretty rough all over, mold/mildew. I would like to get it done due to having limited free time.
