    Thread Cutting Machine

Does anyone know which thread cutting machine Tim Yoder used on the recent episode of Woodturnerning Workshop? In the episode he was building a small postage stamp dispenser. Thanks.

I'm not sure it's a Baxter. The one in the show attached to the quill on the tailstock. Unless I'm looking at the website picture wrong. Thanks.

This may be the one on the show. Just did a search for it and found this. Must be pretty expensive since they don't even provide a pre-order dollar amount.

My mistake. You are right. I had checked with Soren about a year ago on the pricing and I want to think it was about $600. I'll see if I can find the old emails and verify the price cause I looked at his, Baxters, and one other one on the net.he's been running the Pre-order" for a very long time. lol

You might give a thought to making a threading jig. I made one a couple of years ago. Mine is limited to 14tpi, but that could be changed. Here is a link on mine;http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthre...lid&highlight=
