    rustic foot stool

hey guys, i was in the process of building our bathroom vanities when my wife suddenly decided her grandmother who recently had a stroke could use a slightly lower stool to rest her leg instead of a piano bench. it ain't the finest piece of woodworking, but i still had fun and had almost no waste from a 6' piece of pine and some 2x2 fir that i salvaged from a pair of stilts i built for one of my daughters (don't worry there's another pair lying around outside the house waiting to be tripped over!). i used the same beading bit as the one i use for the beaded face frames and tapered the legs slightly with a homemade L shaped jig that i saw on ehow although next time i'll go for a more dramatic taper. joinery was with pocket screws bored with the PC pocket hole machine.

Nice in its simplicity! I like the beaded apron

it was supposed to be beaded on only the bottom, but you know how it goes!
