I was perusing the local craigslist this afternoon and came across an ad for 'Woodturning bowl set' for $50. I clicked on the ad and pictured was a complete Kel McNaughton coring set. One of the knives had been used once and everything else was new. All for $50!

Yep. You read that right! $50!

I emailed the seller right away but noted that the ad had been up for 90 minutes. I keep waiting for a reply but now the ad is gone so I guess someone else got a GREAT deal!

Oh well, maybe next time!

Some of these can be scams too, if it sounds too good to be true...someone is looking for some quick paypal money and then remove the ad once they scammed someone....you can't be too careful.

I know there are scams everywhere but since this was a local sale I would have paid cash at pickup. Maybe next time!
