I was pleasantly surprised by that one, and it did strike me as pretty cool as DD noticed that it's a 3 in a row for Creekers (and WTA'ers). Just goes to show the power of this network of folks on inspiration and development.

I had just come upstairs to see what was new on the forums, after spending a great evening with another creeker, Bill Hensley, who drove down from central NC this afternoon to just chat about various tool 'stuff'. We played out in the shop for an hour or so, and then came into the house to look at some of the turnings that litter the horizontal spaces in the house, and he was especially interested in seeing this mesquite piece, so a bit of irony there. We talked about everything from wood sources, to motorcycles, sports cars, favorite beers and general stuff that made it seem like we had grown up together.

An open invitation has been extended to my wife and I to come up and sample some of the pride of their area, great BBQ the area is known for, and fine wine from a local winery. I'm easy...both work for me!

And Kathy...thank you again for the wonderful piece of Mesquite....now where did I put that piece of Sissoo....

Now how cool is that, I actually held the piece that made you famous! Must say though, that's just a drop in the bucket of beautiful pieces he has on display around his house. I came away very humbled by Tim's talent. I'm inspired to try harder.

    Congrats Tim, you earned it.

ps. It was a great visit, look forward to getting together in the future.
