    Coke Glass Vase

This small Walnut crotch vase accepts a small peach can for the liner, should water be needed. Abit too many leaks without the liner. Finished size is 6.25 x 8. Minwax Anitque Oil finish, both clear Microcrystalline Wax and Brown Antiquax as final finish. Certainly different character shows from the different angles in which it is viewed. The character of the wood keeps me spinning. Guess after 40 years of turning, you would think I would be tired of it. Nope, I'm not. Thanks for looking.

Dan, that looks like a fight to the finish - big chunk of wood with a lot of stuff to take off!! No doubt, you won the fight as it looks good from here.

I can't say I would have considered what you started with as turnable material but the finished product looks pretty neat. The can liner is a good idea!

Nice work Dan! I really like the rustic character of the piece!
