    hardwood flooring install ?

I am in the process of building a house. I came across a really good deal on ¾” unfinished cypress hardwood flooring (beautiful stuff). Each plank is 5 ½” wide by 6’ long. The flooring is “rustic grade” meaning some of the planks have open knotholes. I will cut the knots out and have random lengths. The boards are T&G on the edges but are flush on the ends. My question is. Will I have to screw and plug the ends, or can I just square up the ends and butt them together?

    Thanks

Just square the ends and butt them together.

Spinning is good on a lathe, not good in a Miata.

    Or T&G each end.

A flute without holes, is not a flute. A donut without a hole, is a Danish.
