    Laser tube regas and repair

    Hi,
    Has anyone ever had their laser tubes regassed and repaired by companies other than the manufacturer of their lasers and if so how was it for you? I have a 2002 Epilog Legend EX 75 watt that has a Deos tube and is needing a regas and repair. Epilog quoted me $3500.00 which is $800.00 higher than when I had it done from them in the fall of 2008. The increase seems high to me but then again I don't know what their expenses are. I am looking to investigate other alternatives before I order a replacement from Epilog. Thanks, Jeff.

    Sent them 3 different emails over 3 weeks ago asking for a quote and never heard from them. If they don't give quotes by email I feel that they could at least respond to my email and let my know.
