Hopefully the hummingbirds will be back to our area soon. In anticipation of this I have been building my inventory of feeders. These are examples of some of the latest.

Very nice.
Those are cool, what do you use for the feeder part of it, I always look forward to their return.
Thanks guys. I've cut the hanger part of the top but this is what the insert looks like.

The first three showed up today here in tidewater VA. In the fifteen years that we have been feeding them they have never missed the 15th of April by more than a couple of days. We put out the feeders when we file our taxes. Their timing is uncanny.
cool idea! How did you cut the center hole?
Thanks Ryan. The hole for the insert was drilled using a sawtooth bit and an extension.

Those are just to cool. Really well done.

Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone and a funnybone.
Yet another project to put on the todo list. Very cool.
What you listen to is your business....what you hear is ours.
Very neat. I need to hurry up and order some of these kits. With the weather we've been having around here, I wouldn't be surprised to see some of those little guys flying around tomorrow.
That really is cool! Where did you purchase the feeder kit for the insert?
Thanks everyone for the positive comments.
I purchased the feeders from Wayfair.com but you can get a better deal at amazon.com. Unfortunately they wouldn't ship them to Canada.
The feeders are the Perky Pet 215P hanger basket feeder.

Great idea Michael! I put my feeders up a couple of weeks ago but have not seen any yet.
