    Simple elm HF

    I ruffed this out a couple months ago. needed something quick and easy to do,so i finished this. it had warped a bunch, but no cracks,even where the knots were. 5x6 1/2, and finished with teak oil,followed by lacquar, wax and buffed.Thanks all and all c and c welcome as always.008 [800x600].JPG009 [800x600].JPG012 [800x600].JPG

    Steve, this one has a lot of "lift" to it - an attractive form! I kind of like the knots - good character.

    You did good! Very nice flow to the form! Part of me would prefer a more rounded bottom to the piece but this works well and like John said - has a lot of lift!
