    Sink hole cut-out tool?

My father is looking for a router or something that will let him cut out sink holes in minutes (particle board). He has a big woodworking shop where they make a few countertops a day and using the ordinary tools takes too long. What would you guys recommend?

Just a big old Porter Cable (7518 I think) and some templates. A plunge cut and spiral upcut 1/2" carbide bit, and he's in business. He'll need template guides too. I presume that most of the work is in a laminate top and drop-in sinks?

I recommend the Festool OF 2200 Router. Quieter, more powerful and better dust collection than the Porter Cable 7539.

$330 for an adjustable template? Come on. You can do the same thing with scrap wood.
    Get the PC router.

The OP asked for a tool that would allow one to make a sink or cooktop cutout in minutes. I can set my Pinske system up to do this in less than 5 whether I'm in the shop or on the job site.
