    Hawaiian Finishers

I need advice on a durable finish for a cherry wall clock. It will go to the Big Island just outside the Volcanos Nat'l Park. I have looked @ Waterlox and Target EM8000. I am wondering how the volcano fumes may affect finishes.

I think both will be fine after curing.

Finishing is an 'Art & a Science'. Actually, it is a process. You must understand the properties and tendencies of the finish you are using. You must know the proper steps and techniques, then you must execute them properly.

Wow. This place is an amazing resource. It only took 9 minutes to get good advice on the effects of Vog on wood finishes.

    Simply amazing.
