    Vintage Iron or Steel Legs

Does anyone have a good source for vintage steel or iron table and bench legs? I am making a couple slab tables.

(I'm only posting here bkz the offtopic and design forums don't get as many eyeballs...Mods, sorry if this is outaplace.)

Visit the Lee Valley catalog in the Workbench section. There are some bench legs made of cast iron in different heights.
Also the Grizzly catalog has some cast iron bench legs that are similar.
Both are modern-day equivalent designs made to look old.

I would suggest a site that dabbles in OWWM....old wood working machinery....they may have a classified section......

I belong to one in particular but its against SMC policy to list a link so .,,

Do a google search , I have seen quite a few listings for cast iron legs for sale....some of which will probably weigh more than the table you install on them.....

Tables as in work tables or tables as in eating-at tables?

Prashun, when you say vintage what era/style are you looking for? You might pick up a copy of a magazine called Atomic Ranch. They have adds for companies that supply vintage steel legs. Not sure if they would be the style you are looking for as they focus on MCM, but it might be a good place to start.
