Wes-- I can assure you my shop sees plenty of use. I just like to keep it somewhat clean. The new lathe meant I needed to clean up the turning corner.

Mike --The lathe has a plug. I only positioned it there for the photo, so I could get all three of my lathes in the picture. The Delta will be by the overhead door in spring and fall, and in front of a back window during summer and winter.

Thomas-- I made the riser block out of baltic birch ply laminated with 1/2" plate steel on top and bottom. If you need more info pm me.
