China cabinet for my wife , done! (pics warning)

This is my last finished project. Made mostly of solid wood, hard maple and cherry, back wall is maple plywood. Finished with oil based varnish (alkyd resin). Design is my original. Doors are “semi open” frame. In early stage I wanted to make classical doors in complete frame, but in my sketches it looked little bit busy with wood in front view and content of the cabinet is not well pronounced. Thinking that way, I came to idea to remove wood from the center and just leave “floating” handles. As for wiring. Visible wire on on top or under cabinet top would be ugly and in total dissonance with whole cabinet style. I decided to route three groves, put wires in them and cover the groves with wood.
It took me a while to finish the cabinet, but finally my wife is happy and I proceed with my shop “renovation” with light heart ;-)

OK, here are mandatory pictures ;-) Because I like to see a lot of pictures in other's post, I do here too.

Thank you Paul. Me and my wife are big fans of contemporary furniture, that's how this design was inspired.

Beautiful work! Nice design and good attention to detail. Did you use museum glass?

Vary nice!! Like the choice of woods and execution of style! The view of the interior is also more appealing wihtout the center part of the door frame.

Awesome design and workmanship. One question: how did you attach the handles to the glass? Curious minds want to know. Thanks.

I really like the way you were able to use two glass panes and split doors w/o using stiles in the middle. Definitely enhances the view of the china within.

I was thinking to use E6000 glue or silicone sealant (per recommendation), but decided to use double sided tape first, in order to see how it looks. It turned out the tape holds well, so I left it for now.
