    Museum glass is tempered glass with coatings applied, much as is done on eyeglass lenses.

    This reduces UV transmission and cuts down on reflections.
    I think it also "shushes" onlookers that talk to loudly, but that costs extra.

    I can honestly say I've never seen glass doors with a partial frame like that. Very cool! Does everything still feel solid when you open the doors?
