    Small box for a friend

This is a small box I made from offcuts. Body is QSWO from a previous project. Several weeks ago I picked up several award plaques at work that were outdated and were being tossed. I use them for splines, small kids, handles, etc. Box is about 4.5"W x 4"D x 3.5" tall. Finish is BLO, shellac, lacquer.

Boxes like this make great Christmas gifts.

Very nice and great reuse of materials. I like the contrast. I agree on using these as Christmas gifts, not that I have progressed to that point yet.

    Cool looking boxes, Jim.
