    Surprising Find in a Log

    Check out the image in this log cross section. It almost looks fake, but I hope it's a natural occurrence. The link doesn't have many details, but here it is anyway.

    Anybody remember the old art school applications ? DRAW THIS GIRL! WE WILL TELL YOU IF YOU HAVE TALENT! They were often printed on match book covers. Well IMHO if you sent a drawing that looked like either picture , and a check you would be accepted !

    Mike H has it right. We all see a face on the Moon too.

    With anything, people like to see patterns, and most of the time they see what they are looking for. Same goes for all those Nostradamus predictions that are somehow coming "true".

    Have you guys read about how the French had discovered N-rays, but it was only the French that could detect it?
