    Blum Tandem Jig - Needed?

I'm considering using Blum's tandem undermount drawer guides. How useful or necessary is their "Tandem Drilling Jig"? It's about $45. On my next project i may have to install a bunch of these.

I just finished making about 15 drawers with Blum Tandem runners with Blumotion closers. I did not use their drilling jig.Just set the runner on the bottom of the drawer and give it a tap with a hammer to mark the spot for the hole, the front locking devices were slide into the corners and a pilot hole was drilled using the locking device as a template. Or check out Marc Sommerfelds video on cabinetmaking.

    Hope this helps Tom
