Is PhotoVcarve to the CNC as Photograve is to the laser? If you have Aspire do you still need PhotoVcarve?

Your analogy is correct, but just like with Lasers, you don't need Photograve to engrave pics with a laser. The short answer is, if you have Aspire you pretty much have everything you need, other than being able to do lithophanes.. But look at the comparison chart:

With Aspire you can do lithophanes but not photo line engraving
