    A nice little addition

The turning corner of my workshop just got a little bit more crowded [I need more space like I need air! ] My new Delta midi 46-460 arrived early this morning from CraftSupplies USA, and I have gotten it set up [for now, anyway] and am looking forward to christening it with a few shavings a.s.a.p!

Now, I just have to get one more chuck.......then I think I will be set for a while, at least This vortex is killing me.............help! Well, not really!

Congrats Roger, you'll find it a welcome addition. I placed a 2x8 across the back of the stand's feet, and set 2 bags of sand on it for a bit of extra ballast.
    Have fun and make chips!
Laugh at least once daily, even if at yourself!

Hey Roger look at the bright side...you won't have far to go to hook up the dust collector! Congrats on the new lathe, I still use mine a lot.

Looking good Roger. Now you can hold mini club meetings at your place.

Not a bad idea, Tim......my first turning session went well as far as vibration goes, but only a fairly small block of wood....nothing big or unbalanced........still seemed stable ......more so than I expected. Thanks!

Nice looking Round to it Roger. Looks like it needs a little green paint though.
I usually find it much easier to be wrong once in while than to try to be perfect.

Our turning club has a couple of those. They sure are quite and they seem to be a favorite with everyone. I'm jealous.
