    Wishing Well

My niece asked me to make a wishing well for her wedding. This was the result.

Some CNC work on the brown painted MDF, and the wood is pine that was flame coloured and varnished.

The roof is pine plywood, stained cherry. The crank was a bit of a cheat, I couldn't think of a way to make it look nice, but it works and the bucket can be lowered. The lid can be locked, we are still arguing about whose family cannot be trusted. The bucket was bought.

Nice little project, I estimate 5 hours of making (not included waiting for the paint to dry), and about the same amount thinking.

Excellent workmanship. Your niece will be proud of her uncle.
    Best Regards,

    Gordon
