    Weekend Woodworking -- Sawbuck

I was finally able to spend a little time in the shop this weekend and even better get something finished.

Not my best work but I really needed a little shop therapy and this fit the bill !

Thanks to Chris Billman for posting his plans on the web:

As long as you don't saw through one of those end braces, looks like it is built to last a lifetime.

I finally got to use the sawbuck last weekend and I have to say it was a big help. I already added a few cross braces to support shorter pieces.

We have lots of branches down here after Hurricane Sandy and I was able to quickly cut them up.

The sawbuck also makes it easier to use the chainsaw because you can rest it on top when you're not cutting.
