Information needed on Robert Sorby RS3 Wood lathe

I have seen a Robert Sorby RS3 wood lathe for sale. Does anyone have any experience with one?
    Any information will be appreciated.

Tom, if the lathe is the one in the CL listing in Albuquerque, and on Ebay, at $1200 it is over priced IMO. This is the third listing on Ebay with no bids.

That is a fairly lightweight lathe at 200#, and 1HP motor. The ways appear to be tubular and that will limit your ability to use some accessories. The stand is less than desirable. However, I know nothing about the lathe itself, but Sorby quit making lathes a few years ago, and this one appears to have some age on it.

Ditto what John said. There are better lathes out there.
