Most students leaving school, and wishing to continue woodworking will eventually start a shop of their own.
I think that the best way to start off, since it is inexpensive, is to use the 'Scary Sharp' method, so perhaps this would be a good system for them to get use to in the school workshop.
The fact that it produces excellent results, largely due to the extreme flat surfaces, that stay flat, and do not get dished like stones, is for me, the Bees Knees!
