Hard decision but I'd love to see a set of Veritas PM-V11 chisels under the tree.

I am pretty satisfied with my tools, but often yearn for a Veritas Medium Shoulder Plane or the 3 dovetail saws to go with my 2 carcass saws.

The thing I could use the best is more time.

I am quite well equipped, but I would like to have new versions of all my very old machines.

Others wish for the exact opposite, older versions of Asian made products formerly made in the USA.

A Ducati Monster 1100 Evo. To get away from the world for a while and clear my head, come up with new furniture building ideas and think up some winning lottery numbers.

I am thinking I would like a ROS with good dust collection. Sanding large flat panels with my PC 6" ROS, even with a nearby side or downdraft table hooked to the DC just isn't getting it.

In 62 years I have never found incontrovertible proof that Santa does NOT exist. Hopefully he will again provide positive proof of his existence with that lathe on the bottom shelf of the first aisle in WJA at Tarxien.

    Are you listening darling?

If we're going with Italian bikes, I'd like an 850 LeMans, I'm lazy and like shaft drive........No wait, an Ambasador with floor boards and solo seat..............Rod

The tools are useless without the wood so I would want more wood.

Many older machines do offer a solid quality but, modern improvements can be desirable. The challenge is finding one without sacrificing too much of the other.

My wish would be for a better mind to skillfully utilize the tools I already own. Dad has far fewer tools and produces superior work. I suppose the next desired tools will be hand tools, not large shop tools.

Glenn, you are correct in that many modern improvements are desirable. Just wish some of the modern conveniences were retrofitted to older American iron; that would be the best of both worlds.

A few hours each day when I'm rested and can enjoy working (playing) in the shop...

I changed my mind. I just want hours of practice making basic bowls.
