    Couple of Clam shell boxes

I made a couple of clam shell boxes from Ambrosia Maple over the holidays. They are about 4" in diameter with a single hand lift fit so a lady could use for jewelry. I got this style from a Ray Keys demo a few years ago. Jimmy Clewes does these as well. One demonstrator joked that he made lids with a turners snap fit and some a little loose. He said he would tell us at the end of the demo which kind he did. These are a loose fit by design.

Nice boxes Mike. I don't remember seeing that style before. Hope I can remember it as an option.
