    Burl Bowl

    This is my second try at a burl. I got it from a logger, I'm not positive what type it is. It didn't have any bark on it, but the outside was more yellow. Pictures are not the best.IMG_6640.jpgIMG_6639.jpgIMG_6642.jpg

    Great bowl and nice shape.
    I do beleive thats not a burl but a cap that grew over a trimmed or fallen branch. maybe maple of some sort? not sure on species

    I do believe your right,I'd say cap and maple or sycamore.
    Thomas that is a very pretty bowl well do on this one.
