Delta 18-900L Drill Press Question for present owners.

I was wondering if anyone that owns this drill press can tell me what the thread guage is on the Depth Stop rod?
Is it Imperial or Metric threaded?
I am wondering what one full turn on the depth nuts will do as far as advancing or retracting the bit.

    Thanks!

I just measured mine. Thread gauge gives 20 threads per inch. Calipers tell me 0.491" diameter. So, 1/2" 20tpi.

Speaking of the depth stop, I really like the quick release action of the nut itself. On our GI at work you have to turn the darn thing all the way down. Also last weekend, I was replacing a kitchen stool top with a 1 1/4" thick piece of birch which required the legs to be drilled on the angle, obviously. The forward tilt of the table is a fantastic option on these models. Thanks, call this my plug for the 18-900L. Expensive beast it is, but worth every penny.Greg

    Thanks for the help!

So 1 turn is 0.05" or 1.27 mm.
    Thanks!
