Handles for my Nicholson 49 and 50 Rasps

Does anyone have a good resource online where I can buy nice handles for my rasps? Every handle I see online is a light colored wood and I would like some nice dark wooden handles for them.

Turn or spokeshave your own from a dark wood.

Buy handles, strip and stain them.


Surfing, I found that Highland woodworking sells some made of rosewood for $3.99.

I just picked up ten turned handles off the big auction site for about a buck apiece. They come with ferules and can be re-drilled for different sized file tangs. They do have a finish which could be removed to stain in your preferred color. My lathe is in my very cold Minnesota garage so this became a nice option for me.
