    That is a great looking desk. Makes me wonder why I don't use Beech more often.

    Sweet.

    I don't use Beech much, because the widths tend to be under 8".
    I took the limbs from a storm-fall Beech that was more than 90 feet tall.

    They had the most amazing curl, but there wasn't a straight run of grain.
    Beautiful stuff, but the largest trees can be frustrating to split or dry.

    Smaller trees tend to be young, when they grow more or less straight.

    Nicely done, I love the color. It appears you are Serbia. I think there is a difference between European Beech and N. American Beech but I don't know what that difference is.

    Thanks for comments, this work is of a reddish beech (in Serbia, there is little reddish white and beech), drying beech treated with steam and then to work stable and there is no bending deformation ...
