Yes sir. Friday.
I will be. Not sure what day yet. Pretty busy schedule, but I'm in the need for some tool candy.
I can only hope. Even when there isn't a new tool on my shopping list these shows are fun to attend. Not only for the tool porn, but the knowledge and experience that is so freely shared.
Plus it is fun to be able to test drive a few tools for future reference.

Given the number of LN tools I have my eye on, and my proximity to SCCC, I should probably make a trip down there. If so, probably the first half of the day on Saturday. If anyone doesn't want to fight Capitol Hill driving and parking, I'll be driving from the Lynnwood/Everett area and could haul a few people.
Unfortunately my Friday morning is the one time slot that is 100% spoken for. I have an electrical contractor coming out to inspect my garage and discuss options for increasing my available power from a single 110v/15a circuit to... well, pretty much anything better than that. I like to stay neander for the most part, but I love having a bandsaw and want to upgrade to a substantially beefier one. And right now, even my small 14" one pops the breaker one out of four times. :O
I'm happy to see Blue Spruce will be represented there, I want to lay hands on their chisels. They aren't on my Short List for a few different reasons, but they seem sort of polarizing. People either think they're the best thing ever, or they're nothing special at all. Wanna see for myself.
Heading down to Seattle for the event...going to be a wild ride on the ferry...just clocked a 53mph wind gust....

Went to the LN show this morning. They are in a nice new building - almost missed it looking for that old barn they used to be in. Similar group of vendors as last year. LN had the whole line of tools to play with. Added only one plane and one chisel.
Got a personal lesson on using a router plane to cut a mortise for a butt hinge. It was so much easier (and quieter) than trying to do it with a router. 8^)
