    Bed legs

I have a question about an old bed that I got from my mother. She said her grandparents brought it with them from back east. Problem is the foot end of the bed is curved and has four legs. Two of the legs have been broken where the casters go in. They have been glued, taped and have hose clamps on them now. These legs are round and have been turned. I don't have a lathe to make new legs and don't know of anyone here in town that does. So I am looking for suggestions on how to tackle this problem. I have to make a new leg for the headboard but it is basically straight taper cuts which are no problem. Here are 3 pictures of them. Thanks.

Bernie, contact someone from your local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners to find someone who can do the turning for you in your area if noone here is able to help you out.

BTW, that looks like a really interesting design. I hope you'll post more pictures as things progress!
