    Camphor Vase

    Hello All,
    This is my first project post since joining. This piece is
    11" tall and 8" at the widest - the grain and colors amazed me! I finished it with my new favorite oil (Odie's Oil) and 8 light coats of spray lacquer. C/C welcome

    Lovely form and finish! I just love the smell of camphor--my wife, sadly, hates it when I work with it. Nicely done!

    Wow! Both thewood and workmanship are stunning. Just realized that's some of that smelly floriadean wood. This is just backyard trees down there guys. Nauseating.

    That is beautiful looking great job and what a wonderful looking wood. I don't know if we get that up here.

    Beautiful wood and an excellent piece. I'll bet it smelled great when turning it!
