I like the way you explain the process, but accelerate the frame rate when the step is repeated.
When facing the camera, if you can keep your hands on something fixed - there will be less gesturing.
I like the raw footage of the space where your starting, at the beginning.
Too many videos show the finished project, edited to appear in the beginning of the video.
This feels more logical in showing the timeline, as it happened.
I would mute the sound of powertools running, it's much louder on a desktop than I would care to hear in an office or after the kids are in bed.
