    Second Bandsaw Box

This is the second bandsaw box I have done. It is poplar and bloodwood with wine flocking. The flocking looks a little bumpy as I am still waiting for it to cure and then I can sweep out the excess. I don't care for the legs, but everybody who has seen it does. I did this on my G0555. This is for my neice's tenth birthday. Thanks.

    Ray,

It looks great! I have a new bandsaw and have been wanting to try some bandsawn boxes.

One question, how did you enter the cavities with the blade?

If you look at the bottom picture, you can see a cut line towards the top. The other cut line is on the other side at the bottom. Thanks for the kind words.

I had the same question Ray!! That cut sure is inconspicuous. Well done.

Even when I knew where it was, I had to look and look for it! I am assuming it the the horizontal line I can see on the side, at the same height as the top of the cavity?

Very nice! I, too, just got a new bandsaw and have been wanting to try making a box. I hope I can do as well as you!
