    LiftMaster 3800 Residential Jackshaft Garage Door Opener

    Anyone have these or know anything about them?

    I have a Liftmaster very similar to that . There was no room to put the opener above the door. It has worked without any problems at all. It seems a little slower than a regular one. I had mine professionally installed but does not look to difficult.

    You made me get up to go look. I have the model you mentioned it is a 3800PLD. I have no complaints with how it works or how the remote control works. I do not know how much I paid as it was part of a much larger home renovation project that also included an addition to my shop .
