    Spray Booth

Has anyone ever thought of using a camping tent as a temporary spray booth? If so, what were the pros/cons? I have an older one that we dont use anymore.

Never done it but thought about it. Bad lighting and ventilation are the only things I see an issue with. Throw in a good fan for ventilation but not sure what to do about the lighting. Could setup some halogen stands but that much heat near tent material could be bad.

I ended up using a popup canopy with detachable sides. It was really big and leaving one side open allowed good ventilation and alot of light outside in the sun.
    I'm a Joe of all trades. It's a first, it'll catch on.

Bad lighting, poor headroom, poor ventilation (I suspect moving enough air for proper ventilation would want to suck the tent in) would all be issues. Poor ventilation is an issue for both you and the work--you for the obvious reason, the work because of the overspray which will settle into the wet finish if not removed.
